What mixes into what
Pink is not a secondary colour. The three secondary colours are orange, green
and purple — each one made from two primaries. Pink is a tint: red with white
added. Tints are how you get Rosie's colour, and how you paint anything soft or pale.
And a lutino is genuinely rare. A normal galah is pink and grey. Rosie carries a gene that removes the grey entirely, leaving pink and white. Mix that grey by accident and you have painted a different bird.
