Every animal is a lesson you've finished. There's no rush — collect them whenever you like.
Welcome to the Pets on the Green Skill Workbook 6: Numbers & Science. Every skill in this workbook is written as something your child can do — never a year group or age bracket. A child working at any level will only ever see what they're learning, not where they "should" be.
Each skill has three short lessons. Each lesson follows the same pattern: Read it (learn the idea), See how (watch a worked example step by step), then You try (three questions). Your child can work entirely on their own — just open it and hand it over.
There's no timer and nothing to fail. If an answer is wrong, the workbook says "not quite — have another go" and the question stays open. When all three questions are done, the next lesson opens automatically.
Every question is multiple choice — no writing needed at any point. The font and layout are chosen for clarity. There are no scores, no streaks and no pressure. If your child needs a break, the workbook saves their place automatically.
Between lessons, try a 60-second animal move: stretch both arms wide like Rosie's wings for a perfect line of symmetry, make right-angle and acute shapes with your arms, or curl up small like Gary the hedgehog and slowly unfurl. It resets attention and links the learning to movement — a real benefit for SEND learners.

The correct answer for every question is shown here so you can support your child without guessing.
Your child earns a printable certificate they can name themselves and you can display. They also collect animal stamps on a reward chart — one per lesson completed. There's no rush to collect them all.
