What makes a story a story.
- A beginning that tells us who, where and what they want.
- A middle where something goes wrong. Without this, it is just a list of things that happened.
- An end where the problem is solved — and somebody has changed. Gary started alone and ended with a friend. That is the real story; the apple is just the excuse.
