PawSteps — a guided walkthrough

Follow the click path below. It tells you what to click, what to say, and how to tailor the demo to whoever's in the room.

💬 The “while you wait” line: “Families and schools wait months for mental-health support. PawSteps gives them something safe and guided to do today — the bridge, not a nice-to-have.”

📊 The “evidence” line: “Schools have to prove wellbeing and SEND provision. PawSteps turns everyday activity into a one-click Ofsted / EYFS-PSED / SEND report — from budgets they already hold.”

🐾 The click tour (in order)

  1. Home — the hook landing Open home.html: read the one-line positioning aloud, point to the two urgency wedges, then tap “Show me another” on the rotating Animal of the Week.
  2. Choose your path audiences Still on home.html, tap an audience tile — e.g. “Teachers & schools” — to show the site reshapes around who's asking.
  3. Care Library — 370+ animals Open care-guides/: show the category sidebar, the search box and the filters. Every guide is a “master entry” repackaged six ways.
  4. Find your perfect pet — interactive matcher Tap “Find your perfect pet” in the library header (which-pet.html). Answer the questions — it recommends animals that fit, welfare-honestly. A great crowd-pleaser.
  5. Open any animal — quiz + calculator Back in care-guides/, click a card. Show the welfare-honest note, the “Is this pet right for me?” self-check and the cost calculator.
  6. Compare two animals In care-guides/, tap “Compare two animals” and switch the pickers — it verdicts the gentler start.
  7. Full care guide — Bearded Dragon Open Care-Guide-Bearded-Dragon.html: housing, diet, health, dos & don'ts, real costs and a quiz. The family version. (The Goldfish guide is a second built-out example.)
  8. Curriculum packs — one animal, every age The schools engine. From the Bearded Dragon open the KS2–KS3 lesson and the GCSE/BTEC revision (flip-flashcards + mark schemes); then the Stick Insect EYFS/KS1 pack. One animal, mapped from early years to KS4 — that reuse is the margin.
  9. Wellbeing journey — the “while you wait” proof Open wellbeing-journey.html: add a daily check-in (watch the graph move), then complete a couple of animal activities.
  10. Certificate — engagement Open wellbeing-certificate.html: tap “Get your certificate”, type a name, print.
  11. Impact report — the “evidence” proof, the money slide Back on wellbeing-journey.html, tap “Generate impact report” — check-ins become an Ofsted / EYFS-PSED / SEND report you can print. This is what schools and therapists pay for.
  12. Safe & Ready pack — unlocks institutions Open safe-ready-guinea-pig.html: a printable risk assessment, hygiene notes and a parent consent letter.
  13. Articles & Careers — SEO + students Open articles.html, then the CAMHS piece — note the mid-article CTA into the journey; then animal-careers.html for the student audience.
  14. Signup Open signup.html and submit — it captures the email and confirms, so it behaves like the real signup.

💡 Why it sells

Demo vs. real — be upfront. The current signup stores the email server-side but doesn't email yet or take payment. The finished product needs real accounts, Stripe / invoicing, and proper GDPR & safeguarding handling of children's data. Any clinical/framework and mark-scheme wording (Ofsted, EYFS-PSED, SEND, CAMHS) should get a SENCO or specialist review before use as a sales claim.
