We want PawSteps to work for as many learners as possible, including those with SEND.

What we offer

• Read Aloud on activities and pages
• Dark mode and a dyslexia-friendly font option
• Switch & eye-gaze access — turn on the “Switch access” button (bottom-left) on the games, SEN Zone and communication tools: a highlight moves across the buttons by itself and a single switch, the space bar, Enter or the big on-screen bar selects it. Scan speed is adjustable.
• Symbol support, visual schedules and adapted stories in the SEN Zone
• Pinch-to-zoom is enabled across the site

Ongoing work

We are working towards WCAG 2.1 AA and are adding tap-to-select alternatives to any drag-based activities so motor-impaired users are included. If you hit a barrier, please tell us at hello@pawsteps.co.uk and we will help and prioritise a fix.
