Post-16 & A-Level

A-Level Biology and Level 2/3 Animal Management, taught through animals we actually keep. Not a worksheet with a picture of a frog on it — a real animal, a real husbandry decision, and the specification content that sits underneath it.

Why this exists. Most animal-themed learning stops at Year 6. Post-16 students get textbook diagrams. But thermoregulation is easier to understand when you have watched a real bearded dragon move between the warm end and the cool end of a vivarium and choose his own body temperature — and inheritance is easier when the recessive allele in the example is sitting on a perch in front of you.

A-Level Biology, through real animals

Each one maps to specification content (AQA/OCR/Edexcel Biology). The animal is not decoration — it is the reason the concept makes sense.

Being straight about coverage. Our post-16 offer is Biology and Animal Management. We do not pretend to teach A-Level Maths, History or Art through animals — that would be a gimmick, and a sixth-form teacher would see through it in ten seconds. If you need those subjects, we are not the right tool, and we would rather say so.
